Manchester United Soccer Schools will be coming to Dallas in June 2010 to deliver two weeks of their latest skills development programs. Whether you want to beat defenders like Giggs, pass with accuracy and imagination like Carrick, or finish with enthusiasm and consistency like Rooney, this program will give you the tools and enthusiasm to play the United Way.

Under the guidance of a team of MUSS coaches flying in from the UK, boys and girls attending the programs will enjoy this exciting opportunity to train just like the first team players at Manchester United. The Club has a long history and tradition of playing high-quality attacking football, and the MUSS programs reflect this philosophy by encouraging players to express themselves and play without a fear of failure.

The delivery of the programs will be based on the Manchester United Soccer Schools development model, where all players, regardless of experience or ability, will be encouraged to grow in a variety of areas. All individuals will be challenged to improve their technical skills, tactical understanding, physical and mental strengths to develop as a more rounded player. The MUSS coaches will also look to create the most positive learning environment possible so that all players can interact, have fun, and develop their confidence and social skills at the same time.

As a feature of these programs the MUSS coaches will be implementing a series of skills challenges for all attending players, with the tasks designed so that all players, regardless of age, can compete on an equal level. One lucky player from these programs in Dallas will be selected to take part in the World Skills Final in Manchester later this year and will enjoy the once in a lifetime opportunity to play on the Old Trafford pitch before a Premier League game.

FRISCO, Texas (September 30, 2009)– Today, Soccer America magazine named the Top 40 boys and girls youth soccer clubs in America. Again, US Youth Soccer continues as the common thread of America's best.
Now in its seventh installment, Soccer America selected the top 40 boys and girls clubs, based on success of their teams in national youth competitions over the last three years and national recognition for players from these clubs in 2009.

The most important criteria for determining "Soccer America's Top 40 youth rankings" was success in the US Youth Soccer National Championships during a three-year cycle (2007-2009) and the number of players who went on to U.S. Soccer National Teams and were selected to US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program All-Star rosters.

"It has been a fantastic year for us that included our affiliation with Manchester United, one of the top clubs in the world, having five teams in the US Youth Soccer National Championships, our U-16 Boys crowned US Youth Soccer National Champions, making history in the Dallas Cup by winning three championships in one year and now this, being recognized by Soccer America as one of the top clubs in the country. Needless to say, this makes me very proud and at the same time very grateful and thankful for all of the hard working people in our organization who help to make these things possible. With all of the great clubs around the county, it is not easy to be recognized as No. 1 for the last several years," said Hassan Nazari, founder and director of coaching of the Dallas Texans. Nazari is also the coach of the 2009 Under-16 Boys US Youth Soccer National Champions.

MANCHESTER UNITED TRIP
Complete success in every aspect

Four coaches, including Dallas Texans Austin's Girl's Director K.C. Crabb, and five players from our club just got back from the first visit to Manchester United FC. According to Hassan Nazari, Director of the Texans, the trip was very informative and our coaches and players learned greatly from the Manchester United Academy coaches. He also said that it isn’t a surprise that Manchester United is one of the best and most professional football clubs in the world. Man U demonstrated the highest level of training and professionalism and instilled this into their young players at the Academy level.

It was a fantastic trip for our own boys to be exposed to that type of training and very educational for our coaches who observed the training methods. We will be implementing some of their programs and ideas into our own soccer training program very soon to make our club even more successful and to benefit each player in our organization. As we continue with our affiliation with Man U, we will develop more opportunities to interact with each other in order to allow for our club to constantly evolve and become better.

Our trip concluded with watching the 2010 World Cup qualifier between England and Croatia in the state of the art Wimbley Stadium. England won!
